Keep your app live with premium hosting

Publishing an Onplana Maker app is included, no subscription. Free apps carry a small “Made with Onplana” badge. Activating premium hosting removes the badge, and it is billed from the same credit wallet your builds use. This page explains the hosting lifecycle so your app is never taken down by surprise.

Turn premium hosting on

1. Publish your app first (from the Build tab). It goes live on the free tier with the badge.

2. Open the app’s publish controls and choose premium hosting. The cost is debited from your credit wallet, and the badge drops right away.

3. To go back, deactivate premium hosting. The app stays live; the badge returns on the next publish.

What happens near renewal

Premium hosting renews every 30 days from your wallet. Onplana never lets an app vanish silently:

• Advance warnings. If your wallet cannot cover the next renewal, you get a heads-up 7 days and 1 day before it is due, so you have time to top up.
• Grace period. If a renewal cannot be paid, your app stays live and premium for a 14-day grace period, no immediate change.
• After grace. If the wallet still cannot cover it, the app returns to the free tier (the badge comes back, the app stays live) when there is room in your free app slots. If there is not, it is unpublished, but the published version is retained, so republishing brings it right back.

Caution

The safest way to keep an app premium is to keep a little credit in your wallet. The warnings and grace period give you two weeks of runway, but a funded wallet renews automatically with nothing to do.

FAQs

Will my app ever be deleted without warning? No. You get warnings 7 and 1 days ahead, then a 14-day grace period. Even after that, the app degrades to free (still live) where possible, and an unpublished app keeps its version so you can restore it.

What happens to my live URL if it degrades to free? Nothing changes about the URL. The “Made with Onplana” badge simply returns.

How much does premium hosting cost? 10 credits per 30 days, roughly $5, drawn from the same wallet as builds. Credit you buy does not expire while your workspace is active.

Can I roll back to an earlier version? Yes, on both free and premium hosting. Publishing keeps your earlier versions so you can roll back at any time.
