Compare plans and upgrade
Onplana has six plan tiers. Each one includes everything below it:
- Free: core work management, projects, tasks, views, and the full AI assistant (chat, plan and report generation, Run with Agent) with a one-time AI token bonus; once it is spent, you buy AI credit or upgrade.
- Starter: adds reusable project templates.
- Pro: adds Gantt charts, sprints and backlog, custom fields, automations and workflows, time tracking, resource capacity planning, intake forms, the permission matrix, dashboards, whiteboards, and wikis.
- Business: adds portfolios, goals and OKRs, webhooks, integrations, custom roles, and advanced AI features.
- Enterprise: adds the governance pipeline, SSO and SCIM, audit logs, IP allowlist, change control, and scenario planning.
- Enterprise Plus: self-hosted deployment options and unlimited AI. Contact sales.
Per-seat prices change occasionally, so they are not listed here; the current numbers are always on the pricing page.
Monthly vs annual
Section titled “Monthly vs annual”Every paid plan bills per seat, monthly or annually. Annual billing costs 20% less than paying the same plan month by month. You pick the interval with the toggle on the Billing tab, and you can see which interval an existing subscription uses there too.
Upgrade
Section titled “Upgrade”-
Open Organization Settings and go to the Billing tab (Owner only).
-
Choose monthly or annual with the interval toggle.
-
Pick the plan and complete the checkout. Features unlock as soon as payment goes through.
What happens when you downgrade
Section titled “What happens when you downgrade”Downgrading is deliberately careful, because lower tiers lock features your data may live in:
- Review the impact. Before anything changes, Onplana shows exactly which features you will lose and how many records each one holds.
- Export what you need. Compliance-critical records can be downloaded as CSV directly from the review step.
- Confirm explicitly. The downgrade requires a typed confirmation.
After the downgrade, the features you lost enter a 30-day read-only grace window: you can still see and export that data, but not change it. When the window closes, those sections of the app are hidden. Nothing is deleted, and upgrading later restores live access to everything exactly as it was.
Full per-seat prices and the complete feature matrix live on the pricing page.
Who can change the plan? Only the organization Owner. Admins can review the downgrade impact but cannot change the subscription.
Can I switch from monthly to annual without changing tier? Yes, pick the same plan with the annual toggle on the Billing tab.
Will a downgrade delete our data? No. Records behind locked features are preserved and become read-only for 30 days, then hidden until you upgrade again.
How are seats counted? Billable seats are your members minus a per-plan free guest allowance. See Manage seats and guests.
