Ask AI on onplana.com
While you are evaluating Onplana, the website can answer questions about itself. A floating Ask AI button sits on onplana.com’s evaluation pages, the pricing, plan comparison, migration, and feature pages and the blog, and opens a small assistant that answers from the site’s own published content. You do not need an account, and it offers three starter questions if you would rather tap than type.
What it can answer
Section titled “What it can answer”- Anything the published pages cover: how migration from Microsoft Project works, what the AI features do, how Onplana compares to the tools it replaces, security posture, and so on.
- Plan and tier facts: which plan includes a feature, and what the limits are. These come from a live feed of the real plan definitions, not from a page that might be stale.
Every answer cites the pages it came from as link pills underneath. That is deliberate: the sources are the claim, so open the page it names rather than taking a summary’s word for it.
What it deliberately does not do
Section titled “What it deliberately does not do”- Quote prices. Pricing changes on its own schedule, so the assistant always sends you to the pricing page instead of risking a stale number. Billing mechanics, such as how seats are counted, are answered but always alongside that link.
- Capture your email when you ask something. Asking a question signs you up for nothing and starts no sales sequence. The assistant only ever asks for an address if you choose to hand a question to a person, and even then it is used to reply and nothing else. See When you would rather ask a person.
- Answer about your workspace. It knows the public website, not your account or your data. Signed in, use the in-app AI assistant instead; for product how-tos, this docs site has its own Ask AI in the corner.
- Guess. When the site does not cover something, it says so plainly rather than improvising an answer. The questions it cannot answer shape what we publish next, and it offers to pass yours to a person on the spot.
When you would rather ask a person
Section titled “When you would rather ask a person”If the assistant cannot answer, a short form appears under its reply offering to send the question to our team. It arrives already filled in with what you just asked, so in the usual case it is one address and one click. The same form appears if the chat itself will not work for you, which is the more important case: some corporate and government networks block the verification step entirely, and without this there would be nowhere left to go.
What we do with what you send:
- Your email is used to reply to that question and nothing else. No mailing list, no sales sequence, no marketing follow-up. This is a deliberate design decision, not a default we happened to land on.
- Your message reaches our team, so write it as you would an email. It is a public evaluation surface, so the caution below applies here too.
- You get a reply by email. We do not promise a timeframe, because that is not something this route can honour, and a promise we cannot keep is worse than none.
If the form itself will not send, it shows you support@onplana.com so you are never left without a way to reach us. The form is the better path when it works: it carries your question across for you, rather than asking you to type it again.
The same offer exists on this documentation site’s own Ask AI.
Practical notes
Section titled “Practical notes”A quick captcha runs before your first question, and the assistant is rate-limited, both of which keep it available for people rather than bots. If that verification will not complete on your network, use the form above: it does not require it, precisely so a network that blocks the check does not also block you from reaching us. Conversations are not saved to any account.
Related
Section titled “Related”- Chat with the Onplana AI assistant is the in-app version that can see and change your actual projects.
- Compare plans and upgrade covers the plan ladder the assistant’s tier answers come from.
