Try Professional for 14 days

All plansOwner

Free workspaces can run Onplana Professional for 14 days at no cost. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel: the workspace returns to Free by itself when the window closes, and everything you made in the meantime stays where it is.

Each workspace can do this once, ever.

Everything in Professional, for the whole workspace:

  • Sprints and agile boards
  • Resource capacity planning
  • Timesheets and time tracking
  • Automations on tasks and projects
  • Project templates
  • Custom fields and custom dashboards
  • Intake forms for project requests
  • Wikis, whiteboards and pages
  • Role permissions you can tailor in the permissions matrix

Professional’s limits apply too: up to 100 members, 200 projects and 50 GB of storage, against Free’s 5 members, 2 projects and 300 MB.

The offer comes to you at the moment it is useful. When someone in a Free workspace opens a Professional feature, sprints for example, the lock on that screen offers the trial. It also appears in Organization Settings → Billing.

Only an Owner can start the trial, because it changes what the whole workspace is treated as. Anyone else who reaches a locked feature sees that an owner can start it, and sees the features appear once it starts.

A few workspaces never see the offer:

You will not see the offer if Why
You are already on a paid plan There is nothing to trial.
The workspace has had a trial before One per workspace, ever.
You have started a trial on another workspace One per person, so a new workspace is not a fresh trial.
You have paid for this workspace at any point Past customers upgrade rather than trial.
The owner’s email is not verified Verify it and the offer appears.
It is a Maker workspace Maker runs on build credits rather than plan tiers.
  1. As an Owner, open a Professional feature such as Sprints, or go to Organization Settings → Billing.

  2. On a locked feature, select Try Professional free for 14 days. On the Billing tab, select Start free trial on the trial card.

  3. Confirm. Professional features unlock immediately for everyone in the workspace, and a banner shows how many days remain.

The 14 days start when you claim, not when you were first offered. If you are not ready, the offer waits.

Your billing stays Free. The trial is not a subscription, so there is no invoice, no proration and nothing to cancel. If you decide to buy, you upgrade normally and the trial simply stops mattering.

The workspace returns to Free on its own, and every Owner gets an email saying so. Nothing is deleted and nothing is billed.

Everything you created is kept: sprints, timesheets, templates, wiki pages, custom fields and their values all stay in place. Features that belong to Professional stop being editable, and the records they produced remain readable.

If the workspace grew past Free’s limits during the trial, nothing is removed. You keep the members and projects you have, and adding more waits until you are back within the limit or on a paid plan.

Nothing is required of you. Let the window close and the workspace carries on as a Free workspace with all of your work intact.
