Open a person's page

All plansAny member except Guests

Every member of your workspace has a page of their own. It answers “what is this person working on, and where?” without opening project after project. The page only ever shows what you could already see elsewhere, so a teammate sees less of it than a manager does.

  1. Open People in the sidebar.

  2. On the Members tab, select the person’s name.

The page opens at its own address, so you can bookmark it. To share it, select the link icon in the header (Copy a shareable link). Anyone who opens the link sees the page with their own access, not yours.

Agents connected to your workspace are listed on People, but their names do not open a page.

The header. The person’s name, their organization role and their email address. A Deactivated badge marks someone whose access has ended, and an Agent badge marks an agent persona.

Open tasks they hold. Tasks assigned to them that are not Done, soonest due first, with the project and status beside each. The first 50 are listed, and a line under the list says how many more there are.

Open tasks they work on. Tasks where they are a collaborator, not the assignee, in the same order.

Projects. The projects they own or are a member of, with an Owner mark on the ones they own and each project’s status.

Teams. Every team they belong to. Select a team to open it.

This week. Their available hours for the week, any days off, and the hours they have logged. Select the logged hours to open their timesheet week.

Rates. Their cost per hour and billable per hour from the organization rate card. A project or client can set its own rate, so the figure here is the organization-wide one.

Every member except Guests can open a person’s page. Each section follows the rules of the place its data comes from, and a section you may not see is left out rather than shown empty.

Section Who sees it
Tasks and projects Everyone, but only in projects you can see. A project you are not on does not appear, even if the person works in it.
Teams Everyone.
Available hours and days off The person themselves, and organization Owners, Admins and Portfolio Managers. Not shown for a deactivated person.
Hours logged The person themselves, Owners, Admins and Portfolio Managers, and anyone named as a timesheet approver. Needs a plan with time tracking (Professional and above).
Rates The person themselves, and people allowed to manage rate cards (by default Owners, Admins and Portfolio Managers).
History Organization Owners and Admins.

So two people opening the same page can see different things. A Member looking at a colleague sees the shared tasks, projects and teams. The colleague’s manager also sees the week and the rates.

Owners and Admins have a History button in the header. It opens the latest 50 audit events about the person, whether they made the change or it was made to them: sign-ins, account changes, and SCIM provisioning events such as being deactivated by your identity provider. History reads the audit log, which is part of the Enterprise plan and above. On other plans the panel says so.

Which plans include the person page? Every plan, including Free. Hours logged needs time tracking (Professional and above), and History needs audit logs (Enterprise and above).

Why don’t I see a project I know they work on? The page lists only projects you can see. Ask a project owner to add you if you need it.

Why is the Rates section missing? Rates are shown only to the person and to people who manage rate cards. Your organization decides who that is in the permissions matrix.

The page says the person is not a member of this workspace. They were removed, or the link belongs to another organization. Check that you are in the right organization with the switcher at the top of the sidebar.

Can I see my own page? Yes. Select your name on People. You always see your own week and rates.
