Qualifying Free workspaces can run Onplana Enterprise for 14 days at no cost. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel: the workspace returns to Free by itself when the window closes, and everything you made in the meantime stays exactly where it is.

Each workspace can do this once, ever.

What unlocks

The trial turns on the governance and security side of Onplana:

Proposal workflows with gate reviews and weighted scoring
Change Control Board for formal scope, schedule and budget changes
Project classification
Audit logs, the full compliance trail at /logs
SSO (SAML / OIDC) and SCIM user provisioning
IP allowlisting
Scenario planning across your portfolio

What does not change

Two things stay where they were, and both are deliberate.

Your billing stays Free. The trial is not a subscription, so there is no invoice, no proration, and nothing to cancel. If you decide to buy, you upgrade normally and the trial simply stops mattering.

Your limits stay at Pro levels, rather than becoming unlimited. Enterprise normally lifts the caps on seats and projects; during a trial you get Pro’s allowances instead.

Who can start one

The offer appears in Organization Settings → Billing for Free workspaces that look like a team evaluating Onplana. In practice that means the owner signed in with a Microsoft account or uses a work email address, or the workspace already has at least two projects in it.

A few workspaces never see it:

You will not see the offer if	Why
You are already on a paid plan	There is nothing to trial.
The workspace has had a trial before	One per workspace, ever.
You have started a trial on another workspace	One per person, so a new workspace is not a fresh trial.
You have paid for this workspace at any point	Past customers upgrade rather than trial.
The owner’s email is not verified	Verify it and the offer appears.
It is a Maker workspace	Maker runs on build credits rather than plan tiers.

Only an Owner can start the trial, because it changes what the whole workspace is treated as. Everyone else sees the Enterprise features appear once it starts.

Start the trial

Open Organization Settings → Billing as an Owner.
Find the Enterprise trial card. It shows how many days you get and states that no card is required.
Select Start the 14-day trial. Enterprise features unlock immediately, and the card switches to showing how many days remain.

The 14 days start when you claim, not when you were first offered. If you are not ready, the offer waits.

When the trial ends

The workspace returns to Free on its own. Nothing is deleted, and nothing is billed.

Everything you created is kept: proposals, change requests, audit history, classifications and scenarios all stay in place. Features that belong to Enterprise stop being editable, and the records they produced remain readable.

Two settings are switched off at the end, because leaving them on would lock people out of a workspace that no longer has the plan to manage them:

IP allowlisting is cleared. Onplana enforces an allowlist on every request, so an allowlist that outlived the plan would keep refusing everyone outside those ranges with no Enterprise screen left to edit it.
SSO is switched off, and sign-in falls back to email and password or social sign-in.

If you want to keep any of it, upgrade before the window closes and the switch-off never happens.

If you decide not to buy

Nothing is required of you. Let the window close and the workspace carries on as a Free workspace with all of your work intact.
