Maker plans and limits
Onplana Maker (describe an app, have the AI build it, then publish it to a live URL) is available on every plan. This page is the single reference for its limits. The detailed guides for building and publishing explain each one in depth.
Limits at a glance
Section titled “Limits at a glance”| Limit | Free | Starter | Pro | Business | Enterprise | Enterprise+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Build (chat-to-build) | AI tokens, up to 25/day | AI tokens | AI tokens | AI tokens | AI tokens | Unlimited |
| Published apps (live at once) | 1 | 3 | 10 | 25 | 100 | Unlimited |
| Max size per published app | 30 MB | 75 MB | 500 MB | 1 GB | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Publishes per day | 5 | 15 | 100 | 400 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Form submissions per day (per form) | 100 | 500 | 2,000 | 5,000 | 20,000 | Unlimited |
| File uploads per day (per app) | 20 | 100 | 500 | 1,000 | 5,000 | Unlimited |
| List rows kept (per project) | 1,000 | 10,000 | 50,000 | 125,000 | 500,000 | Unlimited |
| Files kept (per project) | 500 | 2,500 | 10,000 | 25,000 | 100,000 | Unlimited |
Two shapes of limit sit in that table, and they behave differently when you reach them. Per-day limits (builds, publishes, submissions, uploads) reset within 24 hours, so hitting one is a pause. Kept limits (rows, files) are totals, counted across every list or folder in a project together so a second list does not raise the ceiling, they stay reached until you delete something or upgrade. Either way, if data is being dropped you are notified; a visitor using your published app never sees a limit message.
Build costs, in short
Section titled “Build costs, in short”- Building is on every plan. A build costs the AI tokens it used, so
$5of credit goes a long way on small changes and less far on whole apps. A build that fails to compile still costs the tokens it used. - Every build draws from your included AI credit (your plan’s one-time bonus plus any top-ups). The Free plan is additionally capped at 25 builds a day; paid plans have no daily cap.
- Builds and your AI chat allowance are the same prepaid balance, so a top-up stretches across both.
- If you run out, Onplana stops you before any work starts. There is never a surprise charge; you buy more credit or upgrade your plan.

Publishing, in short
Section titled “Publishing, in short”- Each plan can keep a set number of apps published at once (the table above). Building and code export are not capped, so you can download your app’s source as often as you like on any plan.
- Published apps are served from
https://<name>.onplana.app, and Free apps carry a small “Made with Onplana” badge. - Premium hosting removes the badge and exempts the app from the published-apps cap. It renews from the prepaid credit wallet; a wallet that cannot cover a renewal gets a grace period before the app returns to the free tier or unpublishes.
- Onplana Maker workspaces (the standalone builder at maker.onplana.com) get two free live-app slots.
- A published app that displays collected data reads it through a data view with a daily cap per view: 1,000 reads a day on Free, 5,000 on Starter, 20,000 on Pro, 50,000 on Business, 200,000 on Enterprise, unlimited on Enterprise+. A read is a page view, so the caps sit well above the matching submission caps.
