Save the schedule quality and risk reports
The schedule quality check and a schedule risk run can each leave the app as a file. Save as PDF makes a one-page summary to send round, and Export CSV writes every row for a spreadsheet.
Save the quality report
Section titled “Save the quality report”-
Choose Plan > Schedule quality.
-
Under the summary line, press Save as PDF or Export CSV.
-
Choose where to save it. The drawer then reads “Exported” and the file name.
Save a risk run
Section titled “Save a risk run”-
Choose Plan > Schedule risk… and select Run.
-
When the results show, press Save as PDF or Export CSV, beside Run at the foot of the dialog.
-
Choose where to save it.
The two buttons appear once a run has finished. They are greyed while a file is being made.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”The quality PDF is titled “Schedule quality: the DCMA 14-point assessment”. It carries the file name and when it was made, the passed and failed counts, the status date, the 14 checks, the structure checks and the tasks the checks flag.
The risk PDF is titled “Schedule risk: a Monte Carlo run”. It carries the P50, P80 and P90 finish, the same figures as the tiles in the dialog, the finish curve with the P50, P80 and plan dates marked, then the tables.
Each PDF is one A4 page. When a table is longer than the page, it ends with “And N more rows. The CSV has every row.” The CSV has every row, with headings in the app’s language, and opens in Excel.
- Both reports are made on your computer from the plan as it stands, unsaved edits included. Nothing is uploaded.
- If a report cannot be made, the dialog says “The report could not be made. Try again.”
- Risks you add in the dialog are not saved in the plan file, so the risk report is the record of a run.
